Basement renovation (Castle Dr./ Montclair, Oakland, CA)
Recently completed
Designed to celebrate the client's travels and photography, this conversion transforms a basement recreation room into an elegant gallery with bar. For the main display area, custom shelving is integrated alongside a corner entertainment center. The project also features a refinished stair and fireplace plus new home theatre system, bath and infrared sauna.
Kitchen remodel and bath addition (Chabot Ct./Rockridge, Oakland, CA)
Recently completed, featured on the 2005 Rockridge Kitchen Tour
A renovation of a Craftsman bungalow, this project expands the kitchen, adds a master bathroom, stackable laundry, and more closet space--all without changing the home's original footprint. The key to this effective use of space is the conversion of an underused hallway into a closet and laundry area; meanwhile, a small breakfast nook is eliminated in favor of a larger kitchen.
